Who are the Bugs?
An obscure Garage / Psyche band from 1987 who made one album for Big Beat at the tail end of the Rock-A-Billy Psychosis and the Garage Disease period and then left?
Was Lloyd Tripp from the much lauded Vibes on upright bass?
Were the Smith brothers really in the group?
Or is this another of the Big Beat spoofs?
Does it matter as all you need to know is that this is a very groovy album from the Dark Side, spiked with psyche sounds, blistering guitar solos and all in cavernous reverbs that could have been made anytime from 1966 to 1988.
Available now at all good record stores in Hip Pocket edition – just the sleeve – just the music.
